Brad & Gary (2011) review

BRAD & GARY is part of the 2012 Sarasota Film Festival’s program: SHORTS 6: ANIMATED STORIES.

Meet BRAD & GARY, two extremely malleable chums who manage to get unexpectedly stuck (and I do mean STUCK) in a series of hilarious positions. It’s a good thing that they have each other around to lend a hand when their sticky predicament starts escalating out of control. Or is it?

In this hilarious short by French director Pierre Coffin, who also voices “Brad,” we are reminded that even a little friendship goes a long, long way. The impressively fluid animation was created by Illumination Mac Guff Studio, the same crew that produced Coffin’s full-length animated comedy DESPICABLE ME.
